
Chanphoumy Choeun
Director of Finance
& Operations
Chanphoumy was born in Battambang before moving to Phnom Penh with her family. She holds an MBA in accounting and finance and a BA in banking and finance, both from Build Bright University. She also has experience in education and holds a degree in primary school teaching. As part of the team at AP Chanphoumy is responsible for our accounting and auditing. Prior to joining AP, she worked as finance officer and treasurer at Cambodian NGO Life With Dignity and as the treasury officer at a local financial organisation.

Marady Kham
Social Work and Community Engagement
Manager
Marady was born in Komreang Village in the Kampong Speu province of Cambodia. She holds a bachelors degree in social work and is responsible for AP's social and community outreach work. She visits the communities that we serve multiple times a week, ensuring a strong relationship between our children's parents and AP. She also assesses our children's home environments in order to make sure that they are safe and stable. Before joining us she worked in child care and with the Street Children Assistant Development Program.

Amjad Ghori
Co-founder and chairperson of the board of directors
Co-founder of Aziza's Place and the Aziza Ghori Charitable Foundation, Amjad lives in London in the UK with his wife and young daughter, Amina. He was previously managing director of Crédit Agricole's structured finance advisory group and an executive director of CMS Energy. He devotes a lot of his personal time to Aziza's Place and visits at least 3 times a year.

Sothearwat Seoung
Vice chairperson of the board of directors
With more than 10 years experience in the social development sector, Sothearwat works as a consultant in supervision and coaching for senior NGO managers. Also practising as a clinical psychologist, Sothearwat provides counselling for people with mental distress, training on psychological health related topics to organisations working with children and women, orphanages and shelters.


Bopha Vong
Member of the board of directors
Vong holds a Masters Degree in Administration and Finance Management and has seven years experience working with children's organisations in a variety of roles including finance manager and career counsellor. Vong was previously director of finance and career counsellor at AP and currently works for Helon, a small businesses. Bopha is a Cambodian national.

Simonetta has lived in Phnom Penh since 1993 and has been involved with a range of NGOs including Youth With A Mission and the Hagar Project. In 2014, she joined the Women's International Group, where she is in charge of the community fund.
